This edition is still being written, illustrated and tested. We only sell an edition once all 30 missions are finished in both formats.
Also part of Choose Any 3 ($74.99) and the Complete Collection ($184.99), each for one age level.
The goal: Help the moon find its rhythm so Moonlight Gardens can rest, play and bloom again.
Your child’s part: Your child notices what bodies need, sorts busy moments from calm ones and puts the garden’s scrambled routines back in order. As they do, the night flowers open again and the Moonlight Festival can go ahead.
Balance is knowing what your body and feelings need, whether that’s rest, play, a snack or a calm moment, and building routines that help.
Just gentle ideas to help you choose.
The story goal: Help the moon find its rhythm so Moonlight Gardens can rest, play and bloom again.

Luna says: “Right. That's me. Splashy. I didn't even notice until I looked.”Luna
Luna is on the jetty when you arrive, bouncing from one foot to the other. She has been awake since yesterday afternoon. She calls it "a bit of a long day".
She picks up a pebble and drops it in. Rings spread across the water, and the signal lanterns on the posts flicker. "Vesper says the pond copies whoever is closest," Luna says. "Still water if you're steady. Ripples if something's stirring. Splashes if you're all over the place."
You both look down. The water is slapping against the posts.
First, a choice: 4 options
On the printed page: Circle what Luna tries, then fill in the pond card.
By the end they have: Pond card with before and after marks; pond check added to the toolkit.
You will need: The pond card on this page (or any paper) · A pencil
Smaller step if needed: Do just the first pond check, and say it out loud instead of marking it.
The grown-up’s part: Stay nearby while your child reads and chooses. If they ask for your pond, give an honest one: My pond's a bit splashy right now.
Do a pond check before school and again after school on the same day, and mark both on your pond card.
What it practises: Practise noticing your own energy (still, rippling or splashy), choosing something to try, predicting what will happen and checking.
Word for word from Mission 1 of the draft The Balance Garden for ages 7-8. The edition is not yet approved, so wording may change, and the mission’s own illustrations are still to come.
Six missions in each chapter. Finishing a chapter lights up a new star on the map, on paper and on screen.

Reflection, Movement, Drawing, Story choices, Memory game.
Multi-step games, mysteries, problem-solving, short writing, real-world challenges. About 10-20 min (a few up to 25) per mission. Short reading and writing. Grown-up role: parent nearby, child leads.
The same mission plays on paper or on screen with the same answer. This is how each activity type changes between the two formats.
