Welcome to Kidzplora.

These Terms of Use and Digital Purchase Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kidzplora website, downloadable activity packs, interactive adventures and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing a product or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Kidzplora provides play-based recreational and educational enrichment activities for families. Our activities are intended to encourage exploration and practice through play. We do not guarantee particular developmental, educational, behavioural, emotional or social outcomes.

All activities require appropriate parental judgement and supervision.

Our products are digital. Purchases are generally non-refundable once completed, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection laws or permitted under the applicable payment provider's terms.

Please also read our Refunds & Digital Purchases Policy, Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement, available on our website.

1. About Kidzplora

1.1. Kidzplora is a digital adventure platform for children aged 3 to 10, offering interactive activities and printable adventure books designed to encourage important life skills through play.

1.2. Kidzplora is a brand operated by SYOS by SS FZC, a limited-liability company registered in Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates.

1.3. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Kidzplora's website, digital products and services.

1.4. Our trade licence number is 4432672.01, issued by Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority. Our registered business address is Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Our website is https://kidzplora.com, and our customer support email is support@kidzplora.com.

1.5. References to "Kidzplora", "we", "us" and "our" mean the legal entity operating the Service.

1.6. References to "you" and "your" mean the adult customer, parent or legal guardian accessing or purchasing the Service.

2. Accounts and Age Requirements

2.1. Kidzplora accounts may only be created and held by individuals aged 18 or older.

2.2. By creating an account or making a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are responsible for your account and its use.

2.3. Children do not need individual accounts or profiles to participate in Kidzplora adventures.

2.4. Parents and guardians are responsible for managing purchases, accessing digital products and providing appropriate supervision when children use Kidzplora.

2.5. Children may not independently register customer accounts, purchase products or submit payment information.

2.6. You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract, provide accurate registration and purchasing information and comply with applicable laws.

2.7. You must actively accept these Terms at checkout before completing a purchase.

2.8. Where separate consent or acknowledgement is legally required, including for immediate digital delivery, it will be requested through an appropriate separate process.

2.9. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account or purchase or use restricted features of the Service.

3. What Kidzplora Provides

3.1. Kidzplora offers themed digital adventures intended to encourage children to explore and practise everyday strengths and skills.

3.2. Each adventure Edition combines one strength with one age level and contains 30 missions organised into five chapters.

3.3. Unless expressly stated otherwise, each purchased Edition includes:

  • a. A downloadable, printable PDF activity book.
  • b. Access to an interactive online version of the same adventure.

3.4. Our current purchase options are:

  • a. One Adventure Pack: One Edition at one selected age level.
  • b. Choose Any 3 Adventure Packs: Three different eligible Editions selected by the customer.
  • c. Complete Collection: All ten strengths at one selected age level.

3.5. Each strength-and-age-level combination is a separate Edition. Purchasing one Edition does not automatically include other age levels or strengths.

3.6. All products are digital. No physical books, toys, materials or other goods will be delivered.

3.7. Product descriptions, available languages, age levels, technical requirements, prices and included features will be presented before purchase.

3.8. The material product description applicable at the time of purchase forms part of your agreement with us.

4. Prices, Payments and Taxes

4.1. Kidzplora products are currently sold through one-time payments, not subscriptions or automatically renewing memberships.

4.2. Prices are displayed in US dollars unless another currency is expressly indicated.

4.3. Prices shown at checkout are the total you pay, including any applicable taxes. Any legally required tax breakdown appears on the receipt or invoice issued for your purchase.

4.4. Purchases made through Paddle are processed by Paddle, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing and refunds for these transactions in accordance with its applicable terms. You can contact us at support@kidzplora.com about your Editions, access or content. We do not see or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.

4.5. Your payment provider may impose currency conversion or other charges independently of Kidzplora.

4.6. We may change prices, bundles and promotional offers for future purchases. Changes will not retrospectively increase the price of a completed purchase.

4.7. We will send you an order confirmation. Your payment receipt, and any tax invoice required by law, is issued by the payment provider.

5. Orders and Confirmation

5.1. You are responsible for reviewing your product selection, strength, age level, bundle and order details before paying.

5.2. Your order is complete when your payment is confirmed and we issue an order confirmation. SYOS by SS FZC supplies the Editions and grants your licence to use them under these Terms.

5.3. Order confirmations will normally be sent to the email address associated with your account.

5.4. We may decline or cancel an order where there is a reasonable basis to suspect fraud, unauthorised payment, an obvious material listing error or a transaction prohibited by law.

5.5. If we cancel a paid order before supplying the purchased content, we will refund the amount paid.

5.6. We will not charge additional amounts without your express agreement.

6. Access to Digital Adventures

6.1. Following a successful purchase, digital products are made available through the customer's Kidzplora dashboard.

6.2. Depending on the package purchased, access includes interactive online missions and downloadable printable adventure books.

6.3. Each purchase provides access to the adventures and age editions included in the selected package.

6.4. Purchased adventures may be accessed for personal use within the purchasing household, subject to these Terms.

6.5. Where applicable law requires express consent and acknowledgement to begin digital supply before the end of a statutory cancellation period, we will obtain them before supply begins.

6.6. Where the law permits, if you ask us at checkout to start delivery straight away and acknowledge the effect, your right to cancel the purchase of the PDFs ends once delivery begins, and your right to cancel the online adventures ends once they have been fully provided.

6.7. The downloadable PDF and the ongoing interactive online service may be subject to different mandatory cancellation rules. Those rules remain applicable.

6.8. Problems with access or delivery will be handled under our Refunds & Digital Purchases Policy and applicable consumer law.

7. Refunds and Consumer Rights

7.1. Digital purchases are subject to our Refund Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

7.2. Because Kidzplora products are delivered digitally, purchases are generally non-refundable once completed, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection laws or permitted under the applicable payment provider's terms.

7.3. Customer dissatisfaction, a child's lack of interest or an unmet expectation does not, by itself, establish that a product is defective.

7.4. Customers retain all mandatory rights relating to cancellation, non-delivery, defective content, misdescription and other legally recognised problems.

7.5. The detailed conditions and refund procedures are set out in our Refunds & Digital Purchases Policy.

7.6. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Parent Accounts and Account Security

8.1. Accounts are intended for use by the registered adult and authorised members of their household.

8.2. You must keep account credentials secure and must not share account access with unrelated households.

8.3. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

8.4. You must not sell, transfer or distribute your account or provide purchased content through unauthorised account-sharing arrangements.

8.5. We may implement reasonable authentication, verification, device-management and security measures.

8.6. We may temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, misuse or security incidents.

9. Children's Participation

9.1. Children can enjoy Kidzplora adventures without providing their names, dates of birth or contact details.

9.2. Kidzplora does not maintain individual children's learning histories or store their mission answers, scores or completion records.

9.3. We only remember which missions your family has finished in each adventure, so you can carry on where you stopped.

9.4. Further information about privacy and data processing is available in our Privacy Policy.

10. Purpose of the Adventures and No Guaranteed Outcomes

10.1. Kidzplora is intended to give children opportunities to explore, practise and engage with everyday strengths and skills through play.

10.2. The themes of our adventures may include confidence, creativity, curiosity, independence, communication, problem-solving, resilience and other strengths.

10.3. These themes describe the purpose of the activities and do not constitute promises of measurable improvement.

10.4. Every child has different interests, abilities, developmental circumstances, experiences and individual needs. Results and levels of participation will vary.

10.5. We do not guarantee that using or completing Kidzplora will:

  • a. Improve a child's confidence, behaviour, communication or independence.
  • b. Produce a particular educational, cognitive, emotional, psychological, social or developmental outcome.
  • c. Improve academic performance or school readiness.
  • d. Cause a child to enjoy or complete every mission.
  • e. Produce results within 30 days or any other timeframe.
  • f. Be equally suitable or effective for every child.

10.6. References to 30 missions or a 30-day adventure describe the product's structure, not a compulsory completion schedule or guaranteed improvement period.

10.7. Completion badges, progress indicators and similar features record participation or completion, not verified skill development or professional assessment.

10.8. Age recommendations are general guidance and do not guarantee suitability for every child within that age group.

10.9. Nothing in this section removes our obligation to provide products that conform to their contractual descriptions.

11. Not a Professional Assessment or Treatment Service

11.1. Kidzplora is a recreational and informal educational enrichment product for family use.

11.2. It does not provide medical, psychological, diagnostic, therapeutic, clinical or accredited educational services.

11.3. Our activities do not constitute individual assessments of developmental milestones, special educational needs, mental health, learning difficulties or behavioural conditions.

11.4. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, educational, psychological or therapeutic advice.

11.5. Parents who have concerns about a child's health, learning, development or wellbeing should seek guidance from an appropriately qualified professional.

12. Parental Responsibility and Safety

12.1. All activities must be selected and supervised by an appropriate responsible adult.

12.2. Before beginning a mission, the supervising adult must review the instructions and assess whether the activity, materials and environment are suitable for the individual child.

12.3. Some activities may involve movement, crafts, household objects, scissors, adhesives, small components, outdoor spaces or interaction with other people.

12.4. Risks may include cuts, falls, choking, allergic reactions, unsuitable materials, distress or other injury.

12.5. Parents and supervising adults are responsible for:

  • a. Providing supervision appropriate to the child's age and abilities.
  • b. Selecting safe, age-appropriate materials.
  • c. Identifying hazards and following safety warnings.
  • d. Following manufacturers' instructions for materials and equipment.
  • e. Supervising activities involving sharp objects, small parts, roads, public places or unfamiliar people.
  • f. Considering allergies, health restrictions, disabilities and individual needs.
  • g. Obtaining permissions for activities in third-party locations.
  • h. Modifying, postponing or skipping activities that may be unsuitable or unsafe.
  • i. Stopping activities that cause pain, fear, excessive distress or unsafe exertion.

12.6. An activity's inclusion in Kidzplora does not guarantee that it is suitable for every child or safe in every environment.

12.7. Parents must not leave children unsupervised where adult supervision is reasonably required.

12.8. Children should be allowed to decline, repeat or skip missions without pressure or punishment.

12.9. Kidzplora does not provide childcare or in-person supervision and does not control the environment in which activities take place.

12.10. We are not responsible for harm caused solely by inadequate supervision, misuse of materials, unsafe modifications, disregard of clear instructions or circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where the harm results from a breach of duty for which we are legally responsible.

13. Personal Licence and Permitted Use

13.1. Purchasing an Edition grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use that Edition for private household purposes.

13.2. You may download and keep purchased PDFs, make personal backup copies and print copies for use within your own household.

13.3. Children within your household may participate in purchased online adventures using your authorised account under appropriate adult supervision.

13.4. Without our prior written permission, you must not:

  • a. Share or distribute PDFs or adventures outside your household.
  • b. Sell, resell, sublicense, rent or commercially exploit purchased materials.
  • c. Upload content to public websites, file-sharing platforms, social media or group chats for distribution.
  • d. Reproduce or use the materials in schools, nurseries, clubs, therapy practices or commercial programmes.
  • e. Create competing or derivative products using protected Kidzplora content.
  • f. Remove copyright notices or ownership information.

13.5. Educational, institutional or commercial use requires a separate written licence from Kidzplora.

13.6. Household printing rights do not authorise commercial distribution of printed copies.

13.7. Permitted uses under mandatory copyright exceptions remain unaffected.

14. Intellectual Property

14.1. All Kidzplora content, including its stories, characters, illustrations, activities, interactive games, designs and printable materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

14.2. Purchases grant customers a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased materials for personal, non-commercial purposes within their household.

14.3. Customers may download and print included materials for personal family use but may not reproduce them for commercial purposes, redistribute them, resell them or make them publicly available without written permission.

14.4. Kidzplora content is owned by us or our licensors. Purchasing digital content does not transfer ownership of intellectual property rights.

14.5. Customers may not use protected Kidzplora content to train or develop artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems without our express permission, except where mandatory law permits such use.

14.6. Customers may not use the Kidzplora name, logo or branding in a manner suggesting an official relationship or endorsement without authorisation.

14.7. We reserve the right to pursue lawful remedies for infringement or unauthorised commercial use.

15. Acceptable Use

15.1. You must not use the Service unlawfully or interfere with its security, operation or integrity.

15.2. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • a. Accessing content you have not purchased.
  • b. Circumventing payment or account controls.
  • c. Accessing another customer's account without permission.
  • d. Introducing malicious code or interfering with website infrastructure.
  • e. Using unauthorised automated tools to extract or redistribute substantial portions of our content.
  • f. Distributing unauthorised copies of Kidzplora products.
  • g. Engaging in fraudulent or otherwise unlawful activities.

15.3. We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate protective measures.

16. Website Availability and Technical Requirements

16.1. We use reasonable care to maintain a secure and functional Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

16.2. The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical failures, security measures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

16.3. Customers are responsible for maintaining a suitable internet connection and compatible device, browser and software.

16.4. Material compatibility requirements will be disclosed before purchase where required by law.

16.5. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device or browser, but this does not affect express compatibility commitments or applicable consumer rights.

16.6. We will seek to investigate and resolve material access problems within a reasonable time.

16.7. Kidzplora saves one bookmark per adventure on the parent account: the missions finished and the last screen reached in an unfinished mission. This lets the family carry on where it stopped, on any compatible device signed in to the account. It does not record which child played. Saving depends on internet connectivity and Service availability. While we take reasonable measures to protect saved bookmarks, uninterrupted saving and recovery from every technical failure cannot be guaranteed.

17. Product Updates and Changes

17.1. We may update content and functionality to correct errors, improve security, enhance accessibility or maintain the Service.

17.2. We may modify individual missions, illustrations, instructions and other features where reasonably necessary.

17.3. We will not materially reduce purchased content or agreed functionality without an appropriate lawful basis and any remedy required by applicable law.

17.4. New strengths, age levels, Editions, features or separately sold products are not automatically included in earlier purchases.

17.5. Where applicable law requires updates to maintain the conformity of purchased digital content or digital services, we will provide them as required.

18. Duration of Access and Service Closure

18.1. Purchased Kidzplora Editions have no fixed completion deadline or predetermined expiry date. Customers may complete adventures at their own pace, regardless of whether this takes 30 days, several months or longer. Online access remains available while the customer's account is active and Kidzplora continues to operate the relevant Service, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

18.2. A one-time purchase does not create an unconditional guarantee that online hosting or interactive features will operate indefinitely.

18.3. You may retain and continue using lawfully downloaded PDFs for personal household purposes under the licence granted in Clause 13.

18.4. We may discontinue the Service for legitimate commercial, technical, security or legal reasons, subject to our existing contractual and statutory obligations.

18.5. If we make a planned decision to permanently discontinue the online Service, we will provide at least 90 days' advance notice by email where reasonably practicable and legally permissible.

18.6. During that period, we will seek to provide customers with an opportunity to download their purchased PDFs.

18.7. Advance notice may not be possible in circumstances requiring immediate closure, including legal orders, serious security emergencies or events outside our reasonable control.

18.8. If discontinuation prevents us from fulfilling an existing legal or contractual obligation, we will provide any remedy required by applicable law.

19. Account Suspension and Closure

19.1. You may request account closure through available account settings or by contacting customer support.

19.2. Account closure ends access to account-dependent online features and purchased content. We will explain those consequences and provide a reasonable opportunity to download purchased PDFs before voluntary closure where practicable.

19.3. Account closure does not automatically create a refund entitlement.

19.4. We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these Terms, fraud, unauthorised distribution, serious security risks or legal requirements.

19.5. Except where urgent action is reasonably necessary, we will provide appropriate notice and an opportunity to resolve a suspected breach before permanent termination.

19.6. Where we terminate access without customer fault, we will provide any remedy required by applicable law.

19.7. Account closure and personal information retention are addressed further in our Privacy Policy.

20. Reviews, Feedback and Submissions

20.1. Parents and guardians may voluntarily provide feedback, reviews and suggestions.

20.2. By submitting general feedback, you grant us permission to use it for product improvement, subject to applicable privacy and intellectual property laws.

20.3. You must not submit unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing material.

20.4. Do not send sensitive information or identifiable images of children through ordinary review or support fields unless an appropriate process expressly requests it.

20.5. We will obtain appropriate separate permission before using identifiable children's images, names, voices or testimonials in advertising.

20.6. We may moderate or remove unlawful or otherwise prohibited submissions, but will not suppress genuine negative reviews merely because they are critical.

21. Privacy, Accessibility and Third-Party Services

21.1. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

21.2. Our Accessibility Statement explains our accessibility goals, known limitations and ways to request assistance.

21.3. We may use third-party providers for payment processing, hosting, authentication, security and customer communications.

21.4. External websites and services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for independently operated third-party content except where legally responsible.

21.5. Our use of external providers does not remove legal obligations owed by Kidzplora to customers.

22. Liability and Limitations

22.1. Kidzplora is responsible for supplying the products and services it has contractually agreed to provide and for exercising the care required by applicable law.

22.2. We are not liable merely because a child does not enjoy, complete or benefit from an adventure in the manner expected by the parent.

22.3. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by customer misuse, inadequate supervision, disregard of safety instructions, unauthorised modifications or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

22.4. We are not responsible for losses that are not caused by our breach of contract, negligence or other legally recognised wrongdoing, nor for losses too remote to be legally recoverable.

22.5. Our products are intended for personal household use. We do not accept responsibility for business or commercial losses arising from unauthorised commercial use, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

22.6. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for ordinary contractual financial claims arising from a purchase is limited to the amount paid for the affected order.

22.7. This limitation does not apply where such a limitation is unlawful or unfair, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, deliberate wrongdoing or other liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

22.8. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights or remedies for defective or non-conforming digital content, digital services or other legally protected consumer claims.

23. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

23.1. We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform to the extent directly caused by exceptional circumstances outside our reasonable control, provided that we take reasonable steps to reduce their impact.

23.2. Such circumstances may include natural disasters, significant telecommunications failures, serious security emergencies and lawful government restrictions.

23.3. Ordinary technical failures, inadequate maintenance or failures caused by our lack of reasonable care are not automatically excluded.

23.4. Where such an event prevents us from meeting obligations to customers, applicable statutory remedies remain available.

24. Changes to These Terms

24.1. We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, security requirements, business operations or Service functionality.

24.2. Updated Terms will be published with a revised date.

24.3. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes affecting existing customers where required by law.

24.4. We will not retrospectively remove material rights attached to completed purchases without a lawful basis and any required consent or remedy.

24.5. Continued use may constitute acceptance of updated Terms where legally permitted, but will not replace affirmative consent where the law requires it.

25. Governing Law and Disputes

25.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates applicable to the operating legal entity, subject to mandatory laws protecting consumers in other jurisdictions.

25.2. Subject to mandatory law, disputes will be determined by the competent courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

25.3. Customers retain any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in another competent jurisdiction.

25.4. We encourage customers to contact support to resolve problems directly, but this is not a compulsory condition for exercising legal rights.

25.5. We do not require customers to waive non-waivable consumer rights or submit to mandatory private arbitration under these Terms.

25.6. We may restrict sales to jurisdictions where providing the Service would be unlawful or where mandatory operational requirements have not been met, subject to existing customer rights.

26. General Provisions

26.1. These Terms, relevant product descriptions, order details, the Refunds & Digital Purchases Policy and any additional terms expressly accepted at checkout form the applicable purchase agreement.

26.2. If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally permitted.

26.3. Failure to enforce a right immediately does not constitute a permanent waiver.

26.4. We may transfer our contractual rights and obligations as part of a legitimate business reorganisation or sale, provided mandatory customer protections are preserved.

26.5. These Terms do not establish an employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship.

26.6. These Terms are available in English and Arabic. Both versions are intended to have the same meaning. If an inconsistency arises, the Arabic version will take precedence for UAE consumers to the extent required by applicable UAE law. Outside the UAE, the English version will prevail unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise. Nothing in this clause limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
