The goal: Find the five scattered lighthouse stones so the Rainbow Lighthouse can warn the coast about storms again.
Your child’s part: Your child rebuilds what the storm knocked down, tries another way when a plan does not work and decides when to ask for help. Each stone they recover lights the lighthouse a little more, so the boats know when it is safe to sail.
Resilience is how we respond when things go wrong. Children practise naming frustration, trying another way and seeing mistakes as part of learning.
Just gentle ideas to help you choose.
The story goal: Find the five scattered lighthouse stones so the Rainbow Lighthouse can warn the coast about storms again.

Tilly says: “(very muffled) I'm not coming out. Everything goes wrong.”Tilly
The wind is busy on Tumbleweather Coast. It flaps the seaweed and pushes the waves into little white curls.
Tilly is hurrying across the Wobbly Rocks to meet you. Tilly never hurries, but today she does. Her foot slips on some slimy weed. Bump! She slides down onto the sand.
Pop! Her head, her legs and her tail disappear. Now there is just a green shell with a patch on top.
First, a choice: 3 options
On the printed page: Circle a face for Tilly, then circle what helps her.
By the end they have: Feelings card coloured.
You will need: The three faces and the feelings card on this page · Crayons
Smaller step if needed: Point to a face for Tilly and skip the shell game.
The grown-up’s part: Read Tilly's first line in a muffled, under-the-shell voice. If your child picks a different feeling from the one you expected, go with theirs; Tilly can feel more than one thing at once.
The next time something goes wrong for you, try Tilly's way: say your feeling word out loud, like I feel cross.
What it practises: Practise noticing how someone feels after something goes wrong, and choosing what might help first.

Puzzles, Reflection, Craft, Story choices, Memory game.
Short missions, drawing, simple puzzles, role-play, real-world challenges. About 10-15 min (a few up to 20) per mission. Optional read-aloud narration. Grown-up role: guided play, growing independence.
