The goal: Fill the five empty frames of the Star Gallery by getting Wonderworks Valley asking questions again.
Your child’s part: Your child asks the questions, tests ideas and makes prototypes, wobbly ones included. What they find out helps fix the leaking roof and the sticking water wheel, and fills a frame in the Star Gallery.
Curiosity and creativity are about asking "why?" and "what if?", then experimenting, making and imagining without worrying about getting it right.
Just gentle ideas to help you choose.
The story goal: Fill the five empty frames of the Star Gallery by getting Wonderworks Valley asking questions again.

Pip says: “My wonder notebook has no wonders in it!”Pip
Flap, flap! Pip the elephant flaps his big ears.
Pip has a notebook. He opens it. Swish! Empty. Swish! Empty. Every page is empty!
Pip's trunk curls up like a question mark. Hmmm?
First, a choice: 3 options
On the printed page: Point to a picture, then draw your wonder.
By the end they have: Wonder notebook page with one wonder.
You will need: The notebook page in this book (or any paper) · Chunky crayons
Smaller step if needed: Just point to one of the three pictures and say Hmmm? The drawing can wait.
The grown-up’s part: Write down exactly what your child says, even if it isn't a full question. Five-minute version: one arm curl, one picture, done.
Tomorrow at teeth-brushing time, curl your trunk arm and ask your grown-up one why question.
What it practises: Practise noticing one thing you want to know about, and showing it with a drawing while the grown-up writes the question.

Craft, Drawing, Puzzles, Treasure hunt, Story choices.
Picture matching, movement, simple choices, pretend play, storytelling. About 5-10 min (a few up to 12) per mission. No reading needed. Grown-up role: parent-led throughout.
